October Committee Meeting

Welcome to Pack 73 everyone! We have recruited about 33 boys this year…and we still have one more “Round Up” meeting

at Fulton Elementary so sign up more.

Our New Leaders are: Marion Fertenbaugh & Dan Rebuck for the Tiger #1 Den, Dave Foster for the Tiger #2 Den, Dave Zerbe for

our Wolf Den and Mariah McChesney for our Webelos 1 & 2 Dens.

Cathy Joerger has agreed to take over our Fundraising Chair which includes Popcorn sales, the fair parking lot and

our Hershey Candy bar sale. Please be sure to hand your popcorn orders to your Den Leader at the pack meeting, so they

can get them to Cathy before the end of the night. Remember, popcorn will be delivered on Nov 19^th and all money is

due on December 3^rd at the Den Meetings.

BEAR DEN: Reminder: Your October 15^th den meeting will be at the Ephrata Review at 7pm.

New Award: We are going to start keeping track of attendance for the “Attendance Award”. Each boy is allowed

to miss one meeting from October to May. Your Den Leaders will be keeping track of this. During the last pack meeting

of the year, the boys will be presented with their award if they qualify.

Bears – Set up / Clean up

Webelos – Closing

We are going to have a Halloween party for this pack meeting. Please have your son dress up in their costumes! Siblings are also invited to dress up. We are going to have “stations” for the boys to do. A candy scramble, pumpkin ring toss and pumpkin painting. If you are not willing to participate, due to the theme and costumes, please let Heather or Staci know.

Please keep the costumes “church & cub friendly”, which means, no weapons or scary/gross costumes, etc.

Den Leaders: Please be sure each of your cubs gets a copy of these minutes by email. If they do not have email, please print out a copy for their family. This will also be posted to our Pack website at www.troop73bsaephrata.com/cubs/index.html

I have also attached the “Halloween Award” I was showing you at this meeting. Please print out enough copies for your boys

so they can each get a “goofy” award for dressing up.

Next Committee Meeting is set for November 5^th at 6pm…………..before the Den Meetings.
