January 30th Edition

Hi Bears!!

Just some notes about tonight:

We did a Poles Apart (our monthly theme) word find, and we completed Requirement 21b by making a model display for our Pinewood Derby cars. The cubs really got creative with these, and I actually had to stop them before we were done because we had so much more to do!! Some may wish to finish their display at home.

We played a game called spot check. It's like pin the tail on the donkey, except there's no tail, and no donkey. Jimmy won!! Then we completed Requirement 9f when we all got together and made pudding!! MMMM!! The cubs know that den snacktime was discontinued early into the Wolf Cub season because they just couldn't have snack without goofing around and making a mess. Well. . . they were VERY careful this time with the pudding because they knew that if this didn't go well that they would never have a snack in a den meeting again. Maybe we'll have a snack sometime again during a future den meeting!

The next time we get together will be at the Blue and Gold this Saturday! Awards, entertainment, dinner and fun!
